Sustainability

Installations should work to minimize resource usage at ECFs. ECFs offer ideal locations for minimizing resource usage through some of the following: solar panels located on canopies, LED lighting, water-saving facilities. At many installations, at least one ECF is located away from the populous area of the installation.  These locations may not have water and sewer readily available. In these cases, water-saving facilities are beneficial if well and septic systems are used.
