Pavement Markings

Pavement markings are the only driver aid treatment that provides continuous guidance while allowing drivers to keep their eyes on the road. Where used, longitudinal markings typically show lane edges, and therefore show a vehicle’s travel path. See the BMTE Signs and Markings section for additional information.
